Wet& Dry is a curated e-commerce platform for ceramics. A carefully procured set of makers, using a refined categorisation of terms to help users navigate to specific products for their homes with ease.
The platform is designed equally for ceramicists and customers alike.
ENSURING THE USERS GET WHAT THEY NEED
The issue with any physical product online is that it is often difficult to picture what it is going to be in reality. How big is it? What shape is it? Is it heavy?
These are questions that are difficult to answer in a photo. Our solution was simple; by contextualising the size and shape with the food itself.
The platform for us was a refreshing exercise in simple communication, navigation and shopping experience.
A SCALEABLE, USEABLE PLATFORM FOR THE HANDS OF THE INDIVIDUAL
We created a malleable platform that can be scaled up and deployed for any number of commodity items.
THE VALUE OF A NON-CENTRALISED INVENTORY
The platform is suited to all kinds of inventory, particularly for those who have a surplus of items. Products don’t have to be sent to a warehouse, orders are simply put through the website and forwarded onto the supplier, who post’s the item to the consumer
